Scribbulations LLC was founded in 2005 by Kit Bardsley and Ed Charlton, while they were both members of The Write Group based in Montclair, New Jersey.

In 2006 we published ‘Gratitude With Attitude’, a collection of thirty short stories. This publication was underwritten by an editorial board who were all members of The Write Group. It has an entertaining selection of stories from authors across the US and Canada.

In 2007 Scribbulations began offering services to authors - editing and manuscript preparation to those submitting their work to agents and publishing houses, as well as additional services of design, layout, cover creation and proofreading to authors publishing their own works to niche markets.

Ed Charlton spent many years in the information technology industry as a consultant, trainer and systems designer, working for major corporations on large-scale computer systems. Designing a book that will attract and satisfy customers and designing a computer application to do the same are amazingly similar. Working in the world of books and publishing allows Ed to use not only his design experience but also his Celtic heritage by encouraging the storytelling tradition in others.
