It's Meg's intention that this book is not for sale, but is for the benefit of the future generations of the Ekern and Haller families.

The 19 illustrative photographs from the Haller and Ekern families have been carefully reproduced. (In fact some of the details are clearer in these digitized copies than in the originals.)

Included is a family portrait of the Ekerns taken around 1887. With this valuable heirloom we didn't use a conventional scanner - since the intensity of the light might have damaged the original. Instead we photographed the photograph. The results are outstanding.
